Available Light Photography is the site of Isle of Wight landscape photography taken by myself, Steve Gascoigne. Having started my career in photo-journalism over 20 years ago, I moved into darkroom printing and colour management where I learnt the art of producing finely crafted images for some of the countrys’ leading photographers.

A visit to the Island in the winter of 1999 made me realise that slaving away in a darkroom all day was no longer for me - I wanted to be outdoors!

So less than a year later myself and my wife Sharon made the move to the Island and began photographing the beautiful and diverse landscape that is The Isle of Wight.

I am now privileged enough to earn my living doing what I love, running my company Available Light Photography.

All of these Isle of Wight photos are available to buy as limited edition prints in neutral mounts, ready for framing - or printed on artist grade canvas and stretched ready to hang on the wall (please see the prices page for more details). Simply choose your required size on each image's page. Also now available is the option to have the photo of your choice framed in a natural obeche wood frame, made from the highest quality timber.
