Round the Island Race
I was just a little bit too keen to get a photo of this years Round the Island Race from this spot, arriving at 7.00am, when the first yacht didn't loom into view until 8.50 (Thank god for iphones & e-books!)
The bird in the top left corner dive bombed me for the 5 hours(!) I sat in the same position to get this image, covering both the camera and myself in some well aimed bombardments.
I think the end result was worth being used for target practice though :-)
