Freshwater Bay

Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight is great at high tide with the waves crashing in over the rock stacks. The main stack called "Mermaid Rock" was only formed in 1969 due to a cliff fall. The famous arch went in the mid 90's and I always regret not getting any pictures of it. Both Mermaid Rock and Stag Rock can be reached at low tide but don't get cut off in Butter Bay!
